Mrs. Mae Word Hudson, aged 42, of this place died in a Camden hospital Saturday night. Mrs. Hudson, the former Miss Mae Word, suffered severe burns to her body from scalding water several weeks ago while working at the Van McKenney home here. Pneumonia is said to have developed.
Mrs. Hudson is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Word of Bearden, Mrs. Hudson is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clarice Lutrell, of Grapevine, Miss Averice Hudson of Rison: a son, Aubrey Hudson, of Pine Bluff: Two sisters, Mrs. J. D. Reaves of Camden and Mrs. Windle Durham of Bearden: four brothers, Ulyss Word of near Rison, T. R. Word of Bearden, and R. A. Word and Hillard Word, both of Camden.
