Raymond Allison, 38, died Friday, January 26, 2007, at an Abilene medical center.
The son of Florene (Moore) and Olin Norris Allison, he was born on October 4, 1968 in Abilene, Texas where he was reared.
Raymond loved spending time with his family, whom he loved very much. A quiet, hard working person, he was pretty "laid back". He enjoyed relaxing with the sunsets and trees of Tennessee as well as drawing.
He was affiliated with Mountain Top Church in Cisco and Grace Tabernacle in Abilene.
Raymond's wife, Natalie, his father, and a brother, James Allison, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his son, Nathan Ray Allison and wife, Misty, of Cross Plains; his mother, Florene Allison of Abilene; four sisters, Darlene Mayfield of Owasso, Oklahoma, Shirley Glisson of Warner, Oklahoma, Dixie Courtney of Abilene and Rebecca Wylie of Cisco; and his only granddaughter, Natalie Nichole Allison, whom he thought was so cute. He is also survived by special extended family, Lance Allison and Kaleb Thoeny, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Faith, 5701 Hwy 277 South, with John C. Jones and James King officiating. Burial will follow in Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
