CLYDE - Roger Wayne Anderson, 63 of Baird, died Monday at his residence.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Clyde Church of Christ, with Jim Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Clyde Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.
Roger was born October 26, 1943 in Haskell, Texas to Milton and Frankie (Davis) Anderson. He grew up and attended school in Haskell and graduated from Cooper High School. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany and France during the Vietnam War. He married Inetha Hudgins in Sweetwater on February 12, 1971. They moved to Clyde from Odessa in 1978. Roger owned the Roger Anderson Corporation, an oilfield consulting firm, which he began in 1982. He was a member of the Clyde Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Inetha of Clyde; one son, John Anderson and wife Lindsay of Fort Worth; two sisters, Carolyn Galvin and husband Ed of Merkel and Retha Bryan and husband, R.J. of Buffalo Gap and two grandchildren Cole Austin Anderson and Garret Davis Anderson and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Paul Anderson and one niece, Kim Rhynes.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
