Daniel Alan Bollman of Flippin, Arkansas passed away
February 9, 2011 at Hospice House of the Ozarks in
Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was 62 years old.
Dan was born July 4, 1948 at Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin
to Leo Enoch and Marjorie Ann (Lange) Bollman. He
married Carolyn Lange August 18, 1970 at Columbus,
Wisconsin. Dan was a 1967 graduate of M-F-L
Community High School in Monona, Iowa and a 1971
graduate of the University of Wisconsin Stout graduating
with a BS in Industrial Education. Alaska called in 1971
and Dan and Carolyn moved to Kodiak, Alaska, where he
taught at the Kodiak Regional High School. Life in Alaska
was an adventure that took him to every corner of the state.
Dan worked for Wien Air Alaska from 1977 to 1984 and
was airport manager at the Wiley Post/Will Rogers Airport
in Barrow, Alaska from 1986 to 2008. He was an avid
outdoorsman and enjoyed hiking, camping, and boating on
the Yukon River. Dan moved to Flippin, Arkansas after
retirement, sang with the Ozark Choral Society and loved
spending time wood working, and playing guitar.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn; brother, Roger Bollman
(Dorene)of Volney, Iowa; sister, Brenda Bostrom of
Vancouver, Washington; niece, Erin Bollman of Des
Moines, Iowa and nephew, Alex Justin Bollman of Fort

Marjorie Anne Lange Bollman (1926 - 1997)
Cremated, Ashes given to family or friend.
