| Birth: | Jan. 30, 1881 | | Death: | Jul. 5, 1971 | Daughter of lumber baron R.A. Long, she loved breeding, training, and showing horses. She appeared at the American Royal yearly into her eighties. Her fathers 72 room mansion at 3218 Gladstone Boulevard, is now the Kansas City Museum. Although it had a stable area for horses, her horse hobby outgrew the space. Dad built the 1,700 acre Longview Farm with 40 buildings, apparently to accomodate her hobby. Her older sister, Sally America Long Ellis, donated 146 acres of Longview Farm for the building of Longview Community College. Her father R.A. Long, and older sister Sally America are also in this mausoleum. (bio by: Bill Walker) Family links: Spouse: Robert Pryor Combs (1886 - 1961)* *Calculated relationship
