| Birth: | Jan. 17, 1900 | | Death: | 1957 | Youngest brother of Bess Truman, wife of the 33rd President of the United States. Some say he was initially named Fred, and the David was added later. Known as Fred. He and his wife Christine were the parents of David Frederick Wallace Jr. however, who was born October 30, 1934. Fred Wallace was an architect, and died in Denver Colorado. "Fred Wallace, 57, Dies; Mrs. Truman’s Brother," Denver Post, 1 October 1957. So evidently he died last part of September or on October 1st in 1957. His wife Christine in August of 1991, was living in a retirement residence or apartment in Denver, Colorado. Arrangements were made for a grave for Christine Wallace next to her husband, but in 1991 she had stated she wasn't sure if she'd be buried there, or make other arrangments. There is no marker for Christine Wallace next to her husband, and she possibly could still be alive (age 94 in 2002), or may have been buried in Colorado.
