Brother of Bess Truman, President Harry S. Truman's wife. Lived in one of the two houses next door to the Truman Home in Independence Missouri with his wife Natalie Ott Wallace. His brother George P. Wallace and wife Mary Frances (Southern) Wallace lived in the other of the two houses next door to the Truman Home. All three of those houses and one across the street from the Truman Home, are all part of the Truman Historic Site operated by the National Park Service.
