Memorial Services, and Luncheon, will be held at The Immaculate Heart of Mary, Catholic Church, 11385 Grant Drive, Northglenn, Colorado, Thursday, November 10, 2011, at 10:30 am.
Also Family, Friends, and Neighbors, are invited to a Memorial Mass, and Luncheon held at St. Josephs Catholic Church, 1065 Second Street, Chappell, Nebraska, Saturday, November 12, 2011, at 10:30 am.
She is also survived by numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, one distant Aunt, and many Nieces and Nephews. She was the last of her immediate family.
She was also preceded in death by Grandchildren, Michael Kenneth Appelgren and Josiah Alexander Appelgren.
June was born on or about, October 7, 1927, and was adopted by the Wenner's at age 8 and raised working in the family bakery in Casper, Wyoming, until her high school graduation. She won a scholarship to Juilliard, and worked as a bookkeeper in a bank in Denver. She also raised seven children, and mothered many others, believing there was always room in the pot for one more potato, and a space on the floor for one more pillow.
She spent the last years of her life enjoying a peaceful and quiet life on her farm in the Middle of Nowhere, Nebraska.
