Vincent Martin Salazar, age 13, of Oswego, IL, died suddenly at his residence on Tuesday, February 24, 2009. He was born December 28, 1995 in Sterling, IL.

Vincent was a student at Traughber Junior High School in Oswego, IL and had attended Prairiepoint, Eastview, and Old Post Elementary Schools. He attended St Anne Catholic Church in Oswego, IL.

Vincent is survived by his adoptive parents, Gracie M. (Casas) and David Salazar of Oswego, IL; his biological parents, mother, Melissa Bryand of Romeoville, IL, and father, Jose R. Aguirre of Aurora, IL; a sister, Katie Marie Salazar of Oswego, IL; eight brothers, Noel Aguirre, Julian Aguirre, Jose A. Aguirre, Jr., Henry Corral, Tony Gutierrez, John Lemos, James Lemos and David Salazar, Jr; maternal grandmother, Anna Gonzalez; paternal grandparents, Francisca (Casas) and Rafeael Aguirre; and also by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded by his maternal grandfather, Isaiah Sanchez, Jr.
