He was born in Bethlehem, a son of the late Robert and Eva Kramer and served in the Army during World War II. Bob was a police officer in Bethlehem for many years and later worked for the Bethlehem Housing Authority until he retired. Bob was also a member of the North End Wanderers Athletic Association and the American Legion.
Survivors: Grandson, Stephen Kramer of Catasauqua; granddaughters, Karen Bennett of Fort Collins, Colo., and Tracy Biesecker of York Springs; and great-grandchildren, Jarrett, Andrew, Madelyn, Kylie and Caryn. Robert was preceded in death by his son, Charles Kramer, in 2000, who is survived by his wife Kathleen Kramer of Catasauqua. Two brothers and a sister also died earlier.
Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, in the Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem, where friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service.
