Funeral services for Wilmore J. Ricaud, 80, of Jennings, will be held at 11a.m. Saturday at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church with the Rev. Ronnie Groth, assistant pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 o'clock tonight in the funeral home chapel. Chapel hours will be until 10 o'clock tonight. Mr. Ricaud died at 5:55 a.m. Thursday in the Jennings American Legion Hospital after a short illness. A native of Mansura, and a Jennings resident since 1948, moving here from New Orleans. He was a retired watchmaker, working for Coleman-Adler's Jewelers. He was a World War 1 veteran and a member of VFW Post #3686. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Daisy Domas Ricaud of Jennings; two sisters. Mrs. Eugenie Clark of Shreveport and Mrs. Angelic Clark of Tuscaioosa, Ala. and a number of nieces and nephews. – Jennings Daily News, March 26, 1976, p. 4.
