Carl Anderson, Sr. Of Springs Dies
WESSINGTON SPRINGS, Dec 12-Carl Anderson, Sr., who has been ill the past six weeks died at the home of his son, Carl Anderson, Jr., in this city Friday where he had been cared for since his release from Memorial Hospital here.
A Jerauld County farmer, Anderson was 77 years old at the time of his death. He was born in Denmark May 6, 1871.
Surviving in addition to his son Carl are three daughters: Mrs. Paul Hanson, Mrs. Sophus Madsen of Wessington Springs, and Mrs. Harold Krauter, Wessington.
Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church here with the Rev. Nelson officiating.
The body is at Lee Funeral Home.
