Agnes Virginia McConnell Abels, age 79, died December 28, 1928 in Savannah, Andrew County Missouri of bronchial pneumonia eight days prior to her death and flu five days prior to her death. She was born in Barnesville, Belmont County, Ohio. She was the daughter of William H. and Elizabeth (Shannon) McConnell.
She maried William Edward Abels and to this union, they had six children: Olivia Rachel Abels (1873-1952), Emmett Lee Abels (1875-1953), Matilda Elizabeth Abels (1878-1940), William James Aabels (1882-1949), Florida Emma Abels (1885-1967), and Thomas George Abels (1887-1972).
She was a homemaker and a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is buried at the Savannah Cemetery, Savannah, Andrew County, Missouri.
