Dianne was called to heaven suddenly by God On February 23, 2001. His plans for her must be special to require her to leave behind so many loved ones.

Dianne was a native of San Diego who attended Oak Park Elementary, Horace Mann Junior HIgh and Crawford High Schools. Dianne graduated from Grossmont Community College and operated her family's womens clothing business, Little Extra Fashions, in El Cajon and then in Penasquitos for many years. Dianne had most recently been employed in the office of the Chief of Police for the San Diego Community College District, as part of her over 10 years of work within the District. Dianne quickly became a valued employee in the police department and a friend and confidant to many. Her tireless efforts to ensure smooth operations in the department were typical of her dedication to all of her endeavors. She was recently Employee of the Quarter in recognition for her hard work and achievements.

Dianne was a loving and dear wife to her husband and best friend, David, a devoted and caring daughter to her parents Gillman and Margie Cordle, and a wonderful sister to Karen McGrath and Frank Cordle. She will be watching over her entire family, as well as her beloved cats, Pepper and Hanna.

Dianne will be remembered in the hearts of so many people whose lives she touched with her love, caring and thoughtfulness. Keep watch over us from above with Kendra, Baron and Simba. We will always love you Dianne!!

Viewing is Wednesday, February 28, 5:00 to 9:00 PM at Greenwood. Services Thursday, March 1, 10:00 AM at Greenwood's Sally Lynn Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to the Escondido Humane Society building fund.
