Nellie Marie Edge went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 8:20 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2011, at her home. She was born in Muhlenberg County. She was a buyer for Retail Clothing Establishment and worked for Cohen Department Store. She was a member of Mercer Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Edge; a daughter, Lois Luckett; and a great-granddaughter, Anna Luckett.

Survivors include a son, John (Barbara) Edge of Owensboro; four grandchildren, Johanda (Robby) Nall, Chucky (Wanda) Luckett, Debbie (Mike) Kelly and Marty Luckett; nine great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Retha LeGate of Evansville; and several nieces and nephews.

Services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with the Rev. T.H. Davis officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City. Visitation is after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
