Fourth of nine children born to William Southard (1891-1978) and Flossie Maize Hite (1893-1968). Her parents moved from Dallas County, Missiouri around 1916 and she was born in Roberts County, Texas. She married John Edgar Harrison (1919-1988) the son of William "Bill" Lacy Harrison (1881-1959) and Dora May Croft (1889-1983).

Beulah is survived by her children, Nancy Cook and husband, James and Duayne Harrison and wife, Barbara, her grandchildren, John Cook and wife, Vicki, Brenda Hudgins and husband, Regie, Jerry Cook, Brian Harrison and Heather Harrison, great-grandchildren, Kelsey and Lindsey Cook, Bryant and Harrison Hudgins and Michael Santos and her siblings, Edwin Southard of Pampa, TX, Marie Cacy of Monahans, TX; Beth Briley of Winters, TX; Dale Southard of Amarillo, TX; Don Southard of Lisbon, IA; and Lawrence Southard of Portersville, CA, Beulah resided in Oklahoma City, OK for 35 years and was employed by Sears Roebuck in Oklahoma City for more than 30 years. Visitation will be at Hughes North Chapel Thursday, June 28, 2001 from Noon to 2 P.M. Funeral service will be at Hughes North Chapel Thursday, June 28, 2001 at 2:00 PM. Interment will be at the Resurrection cemetery in Oklahoma City, OK. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
