Born in Bay Shore, Edward is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Kaan of West Sayville; a sister, Judith; and brothers, William and Dale. Friends visited Monday at Raynor's Funeral Home, Sayville. A religious service was held Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Egbert J. Durker, Pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church in Sayville, officiating. Interment followed in Union Cemetery, Sayville.
