Donald Lee Baird, 43, of Greeley, died Thursday when struck by an auto on U.S. 85 south of Gilcrest. Born Mar. 9, 1930, in Greeley, he was raised and attended school here. He was a Protestant and belonged to Lodge 2380 of the Loyal Order of the Moose at Ault. He worked for Fisher Bros. Farming, and later for Douglas Roofing Co. in Greeley until the last two years when he was employed by Industrial Roofing Applicators Inc. in Denver.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Grace Baird of Greeley; six brothers; and three sisters;
