Born February 6, 1928, in Cleveland, he was a son of the late Louis and Mary (Balogh) Rogers and was a resident of the Huntsburgh area for 60 years. He was married to Lois for 57 loving years.
A Veteran, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a service manager employed by R.V. Davis Chevrolet in Middlefield and a bus mechanic for Cardinal Schools in Middlefield.
He enjoyed traveling, woodworking, and working on cars.
Survivors include his wife, Lois (nee Reynolds); son, John (Kathleen) Rogers, Jr. of Chesterland, Ohio; daughter, Julie (Steve) Kirby of Troy Township, Ohio; brother, Leonard (Betty) Rogers of Newbury, Ohio; four grandchildren, Jeffrey, Patty, John, and Joe; and two great-grandchildren, Morgan and Clayton.
