Robin Coffey-Basel, 56, with her loving family by her side, passed away at her home on Saturday, April 4, 2015.
Robin was born in Middlesborough, Ky. on October 16, 1958 to parents Eugene and Nellie Coffey. Formerly of Tazwell, Tennessee she had resided in the Ravenna area most of her life. Robin was retired and enjoyed her time volunteering at Rose's Rescue. She loved her two dogs and finding good homes for homeless pets. Robin loved her family and enjoyed her time spent working side by side with her husband and son in the family trucking business.
Robin is survived by her husband of 23 years, Leo Basel, her son Paul (Taryn) Basel and her grandson Ethan Basel. Left also to cherish her memory is her mother Nellie Coffey, her brother Tim Coffey and her nieces: Courtney & Lyndsay Coffey. Surviving also are her aunts and uncles: Vern & Kandy Harville, Paul & Ruth McMurray, Paul & Linda Williams and many loving cousins in Tazewell, TN. She will be sadly missed by special friends: Kim, Karen, Linda, Shirley and Rose.
Robin was preceded in death by her father.
Friends will be received at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, on Thursday, April 9, 2015 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM. Per her wishes private burial at Edinburg Cemetery will take place.
