Edward Monroe Burger, for the past 10 years manager of the local branch of the Four-L organization and a prominent figure in work of the organization, died this morning at his home at 507 Wooding street. He was 55 and had resided on the Harbor for 20 years. Mr. Burger is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Remi Chabot; a son, Eugene Edward Burger, and a grandson Junior Vammen, all living here; by three brothers and two sisters; Duncan Burger, Iowa; Charles Burger, Montana; Norman Burger, California; Mrs. Leonard Young, Iowa; Mrs. Mason Clark, Washington, D. C. The body is at Elerding's.
