JAMES R. FOX, 32, EXPIRES AT DUNLO
Veteran of World War succumbs at Home of Parents; Funeral services Monday
DUNLO: Aug 17 - James Raymond Fox, aged 32 years, a veteran of the World War and one of the best- known young men of this community, died of a complication of the diseases at 6 o'clock last evening at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Fox of this place. His health had been impaired for some time.
The deceased was born in Dunlo on May 13, 1897, the son of John and Alice Costlow Fox, and the greater part of his life was spent here. He and Mrs. Elizabeth Caroff were united in marriage May 5, 1924. She survives him with the small children: Mary Grace, four; John Henry, three; and Raymond Jr. aged two months. The parents and four sisters and one brother also survive: Marie and Esther, Pittsburgh, both nurses at St. Joseph's Hospital; Elsie, Cleveland, also a nurse, and Ruth and Henry, at home.
Mr. Fox was a member of the American Legion and Knights of St. George. He had been employed by the American Express Company, serving as local agent.
Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Monday morning in the Corpus Christi Catholic Church, with a requiem high mass celebrated by the Rev. Father E.B. Daley. Interment will be in the Dunlo Cemetery. Undertaker R.E. Donnelly of Beaverdale, will have charge of the funeral.
