Alden was the son of George Washington Bryson and Mary Elizabeth Conley.

He married Charlotte W. Messer on Oct. 29, 1879 in Jackson Co., North Carolina.

Their children:
Jessie Elmina Bryson 1880 – 1966
Lillian Bryson 1885 – ?
Emma Bryson 1887 – ?
Isaac Cleveland Bryson 1888 – 1920
Sidney Johnson Bryson 1893 – 1971
Margarite M Bryson 1894 - 1962
Mattie Mae Bryson 1897 – 1934
Anna W Bryson 1901 - 1958
Ollie Irene Bryson 1905 – ?

Death certificate states place of burial as Neosho, Missouri with no cemetery mentioned.

Some family researchers have indicated that Alden and Charlotte were buried in Hail Cemetery at Camp Crowder, (Newton Co.) Missouri. I went to the cemetery and could not find their headstones. I will do further research, hopefully to confirm their place of burial.

NOTE: Today, 7-29-2014, I finally located an obituary for my gg grandfather Alden and have posted it here on his memorial. Unfortunately, it doesn't provide much family information nor specify which cemetery he is buried at. It also states that he is survived by a wife and several children but I believe that's incorrect about his wife because her death certificate states that she died Dec. 03, 1913, plus I found her obituary and it confirms her date of death as Dec. 3, 1913 as well.
