"Former Ottawan Died"
Mrs. Goldie P. Adamson, 58, resident here when a small girl, died Wednesday at 6:15 p.m. at 554 Arlington, Kansas City. She had been ill some time.
Goldie Wollam was born March 15, 1898 in Owensburg, Ind., daughter of Joseph A. and Elizabeth (Humerickhouse) Wollam. She came here with her parents, and was married to Fred Adamson. Twenty-five years ago Mr. and Mrs. Adamson went to California, where he died about a year ago. Mrs. Adamson went to Portland to be near sisters, and in May went to Kansas City to visit her brother, Charles E. Wollam.
Surviving are three brothers and three sisters, Samuel Wollam, Baraboo, Wis., Charles E. and Joseph W. Wollam, Kansas City; Mrs. Mary Smith, Mrs. Ina Ellen Britt and Mrs. Anna Marie Lee, all of Portland, Oregon; two grandchildren and many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Graveside services will be heldSaturday at 2:30 p.m. in Highland Cemetery. Rev. Chalres P. Knight is to officiate.
