He was born in New Haven, on a rainy St. Patrick's day in 1972. He was the son of David G. St.Claire Sr. and the late Karen S. (Merighi) St.Claire. He graduated from Montville High School. He worked for Sharp Training for a number of years and then retired to their retirement program. He was a lover of anything regarding sports, especially the New York Yankees and NASCAR.
Besides his father, David is survived by his sister, Kristen J. St.Claire of Oakdale; his aunt, Bonnie Holt (Brian) of Hamden; his uncle, James Merighi of Hamden; his uncle, Thomas A. St.Claire of McKees Rocks, PA; his uncle, John (Shirley) Redo of Groton; and numerous cousins.
The family wishes to thank everyone at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital for their care during David's illness; especially everyone in the CCU.
Family and friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, at Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen, 53 Norwich New London Tpke., Uncasville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 27, at St. John the Evangelist Church, Uncasville, with interment to follow at St. Patrick Cemetery (Uncasville).
Donations may be made to the Hospital for Special Care, 2150 Corbin Ave., New Britain, CT 06053 or the donor's choice.
