DeLong, both of Topton. The Rev. Franklin D. Slifer officiated, using the double ring ceremony. ... The bride is a graduate of Kutztown High School, and the bridegroom is a graduate of the same school and served in the army for three years, two years in the South Pacific.

Alfred Alvin DeLong, 85, Grand Junction, died Sept. 26, 2009, at Mantey Heights Rehabilitation Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Congregational Church. Mr. DeLong was a purchasing agent for the Mesa County Road Department. Survivors include his wife, Katharine, three daughters, Renee Gampon of Kola-Kauai, Hawaii, Claudia Pope of Silverton and Jane Schur of Pagosa Springs; one sister, Marian Wieder of Macungie, Pa.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
