My mama such a wonderful person.

Mama celebrating her 94th birthday she was queen for the day, but in my book she will always be a queen.

Words cannot express how much I love my mother she is, was and always will be my shining star and guiding light.

Mama taught me what unconditional love looked like as she loved me at my most unlovable times in my life. She loved me through drug and alcohol addict faithfully praying for me each day. I truly believe had it not been for her prayers I would have never arrived at rock bottom. When I did it was because of a prayer to an awesome God and on the wings of an angel I call Mother.

I not only loved my mama, but I liked her as well. She was my best friend in the world and now in eternity.

I could tell her anything and she would not judge me. She simply loved me and trusted the Lord with me.

Mama loved the Lord with all her heart, mind, soul and strength and he was the answer to every thing.

To me, no one can compare to my mama. There is none like her, and that I know is because Jesus truly resided in her.

Mama was so full of God that she was bursting over and spilling forth his love and word and she shared Him with all who would listen and even with those who wouldn't. Eventually they got the message and were glad.

Even in her last few months of life she was sharing Jesus with the hospital staff. I remember one person in particular he was the psychologist who had come in to talk with her and evaluate her. She was Jesusing him up big time!

I could tell he didn't know quiet what to think about all this Jesus talk. By the time she was done with him I think he had forgotten what he had actually came in her room for, but he had summarized that she was the Little Woman of great faith and that Jesus was an awesome and all powerful God. He had came into her room to get into her mind, but instead she got Jesus into his and I have no doubt that the psychologist divine appointment with my mama will eventually lead him to the Lord.

I struggled in my heart with how the last few months of mama's life was spent at the nursing home. I wanted so badly for her to get well. I questioned God as to why he was handling the end of her life the way he was and I was even mad at him over it.

I told mama that I was angry with God and she asked me why. I said, because you are in here (meaning the nursing home) and she just looked at me. I said, What do you think I should do about feeling like that mama. Her answer was clear cut and simple, No question about it. She said, Well I think you should ask for forgiveness for being mad at God. In my heart I knew she was right and just so you know I took mama's advise and asked the Lords forgiveness.

I realize mama was where she was in her life and I had no control over her health, circumstances or anything for that matter, but God did and he knew best. There were people at that nursing home who needed to hear about him and he knew if anyone would tell them it would be my mama.

So it was there that she lived her last few months of life and there that she took her last breath. She was bound for Glory and has arrived.

Mama is not gone. She has just moved on. She is in heaven with her Lord and Savior and it is there that she waits until it is our time. We will see her again some day. Until then rejoice and celebrate for she is where she has longed to be and she has no more pain or sorrow only love. We did not lose mama, but rather gained a guardian angel. Still I will miss you.
