MISSOULA – Henrietta J. Blair passed away Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013, at Hillside Manor. She was born Dec. 12, 1912, in Moxee City, Wash., to Anna (Hartog) and Harry Gideonse. She moved with her parents to the Bitterroot Valley when she was 2 weeks old. After graduating from Stevensville High School, Henrietta attended business school in Spokane.

On Aug. 28, 1934, she married Louis L. Blair from Victor. They were married for 55 years until his passing in 1989.

She is survived by her daughter of Missoula; son of Grandview, Mo.; and daughter-in-law of Kalispell.

She is also survived by seven grandsons, two granddaughters, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; a sister of Missoula; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis L. Blair in 1989; her parents, Anna and Harry Gideonse; brother Matthys (Thys) Gideonse in 1955; and son Douglas Blair in 2006.

Mom and Grandma, you are missed by all the family. We love you.

Viewing will begin at 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 6, at the First Baptist Church, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. A reception will follow the service, served by the ladies of the First Baptist Church. Burial will be at Victor Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church.
