Mrs. Sawnie Robertson Aldredge, 83, of 4704 St. Johns, a Dallas Civic leader for more than 60 years, died Monday in Dallas.

She was also instrumental in establishing the Meals on Wheel program.

A member of a pioneer Texas family, she was born in Bastrop, Texas, and graduated from the University of Texas.
