Theodore G. Acker, 48, of Main Street died at his sister Amanda Pfuntner's home Wednesday, June 30, 1999 after a brief illness.

He was born in Dansville on June 11, 1951, the son of the late Kermit and Frances Abbott Acker. Ted was currently employed at the Advantage Manufacturing Co. in Victor as a tool and dye maker. He was an ardent motorcycle rider and member of the Conesus Lake Motorcycle Club in Conesus and the A.B.A.T.E. Motorcycle Club of Steuben County. Ted was also a member of the local Pool Travel Club and a former member of the Dansville Loyal Order of the Moose.
He is survived by his sisters, Amanda (Rudolph) Pfuntner of Dansville, Helen Mitchell of Elbridge and Adaline Acker of Wayland; brothers, Steven Weitzel of Wallace and James Acker of Auburn; special niece, Christina (Gene) Snyder and grandniece Samantha Snyder of Perkinsville. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Friends called at the Chamberlin Funeral Home Inc., 73 Main St., Dansville where a funeral service was held on Saturday. Burial was in Union Cemetery, Scottsburg. (Genesee County Express, July 8, 1999, p4)
