She was the former Suze Ann Bischoff, the past president, owner and operator of Commonwealth Bus Service, past president of Contract Bus Service, past president of McMahan Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Cub Scout Pack #348 representative, a 1958 graduate of St. Stephen Martyr Elementary School, an Assumption High Alumnae (1962) and a member of the Church of the Ascension Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Herman Amshoff Jr.; children, Joe Amshoff, Kelley Kron (Garry), Chuck Amshoff and Tim Amshoff (Pam); brothers, Harold F. Bischoff Jr. (Donna) and Kenneth J. Bischoff (Mary); grandchildren, Sarra (Ricky), Rachel, Stephanie, Clayton, Tommy and Cayla; and great-grandchildren, Triston and Lailah.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 28, 2010 at the Church of the Ascension, 4600 Lynnbrook Dr., with burial to follow in St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon 8 p.m. Friday at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation or the American Diabetes Association in her memory.
