Rugh S. High, 82, of Doylestown,

PA passed away at 11 p.m.,

Saturday, May 16, 1987 at the home

of her daughter at Danboro, where

she had lived for the 16

months.


She was born at Jonesville, VA on

August 1, 1904, to the late George

W. and Martha Elizabeth (Lizzie)

Spangler. She was a member of

Friendship Baptist Church since

1925.


She was preceded in death by her

husband, J. Delbert High, in July

1979, three brothers, Marion,

Walter, and Wesley Spangler, and

by a sister, Mary Weston.


She is survived by her daughter,

Martha Sue Jameson; three grand-

sons; one brother, J. Mac Spangler,

of Edwardsburg, MI; one sister, Jett

S. Croy, Moultrie, GA; 26 nieces

and nephews and a host of other

relatives and friends.


Graveside services were held at

9:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Beulah

Cemetery, New Britian, PA. and

laid to rest by her husband.
