William L. "Bill" Beach, 83, of Callaway, passed away February 23, 2013 at Bay Medical Center. Bill was born January 26, 1930 in Roaring Spring, PA to George and Gertrude (Smith) Beach. Bill served 21 years in the US Air Force, stationed in locations including Alaska and Vietnam. After his military career, he owned and operated his own business until his retirement. Bill was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Florida State Seminoles fan and an animal lover.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Edna, son-in-law Jack Henderson, brother Gene, and sisters Mary Theys, Pauline Hoover and Marie Eshelman. He is survived by his loving daughters Denise Beach and Pamn Henderson.

Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. Interment with military honors offered by the US Air Force Honor Guard will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, February 26, 2013, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bill's name may be made to either the American Diabetes Association, or to the Humane Society of Bay County.
