Obituary:
Mrs. Martha Jane Blaser died Sunday at her Hillsboro home after a short illness. She was born in Walla Walla, Wash., January 16, 1863, and came to Hillsboro in 1883 and had made her home here since. Surviving her are her widower, Cornelius Blaser, and two daughters; Mrs Ila Everest - of Scappoose and Mrs. Carrie Spreadbourgh of Portland. Funeral services were held at the Donelson & Sewell chapel at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon.
