Mrs Ruth F. Smith, 78, of Mount Union (Iron Bridge), died today in Frick Community Health Center, Mount Pleasant.
She was born December 18, 1908 in Searights, daughter of the late Harold and Hester (Fretts) Davis.
She was a member of Scottdale Church of Christ.
She is survived by three daughters; Twila Smith of Mount Pleasant, Mrs Austin (Ruth) Morgan of Florida, and Mrs Larry (Hester) Ingram of Jacksonville, Ark; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a sister, Helen Davis of Uniontown and a brother, James Davis of Clarksville, VA
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ralph E. Smith in 1966, and a daughter, Ester, who died at birth in 1938.
