She was born January 25, 1896 in Huntsville, a daughter of Jens N C and Mary Margaret Peterson Winter.
She was educated in Huntsville and had been an employee of Mountain Bell for 48 years retiring in 1961 as chief operator.
Dora moved from Huntsville to Ogden in 1961 and was a member of the Ogden 12th LDS Ward where she had been active in Relief Society. She was also a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and had been director of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers Museum and a member of the Telephone Pioneers.
Surviving is one sister, Eliza Halls. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist and Sons Colonial Chapel with Bishop Brent Teeples officiating.
