Dan was born to Paul and Katherine Baltimore Duncan and most likely delivered by Dr. Horace Farrar as most of us were. He was so gregarious in nature - we loved him one minute and chased him the next with a rotten tomato. My fondest memory of Dan was the day Katherine took the belt to both Marvin and Dan. Marvin jumped over the belt and Katherine missed time after time. When it was Dan's turn, he took the belt away from his mom. And we all laughed. That's the way Dan was! Marvin had the dark black hair and Dan was the complete opposite. Marvin looked much like his dad and Dan looked like his mom. It was a terrible day Dan was killed in a car accident on Hwy 41, hit by a truck. Marvin was being sent to Vietnam. Dan always watched Marvin's back. These two brothers loved each other. What love is there when a brother gets to Ft. Lewis on the West Coast bound for Vietnam when at the last minute, he would return home as the sole surviving son. I think this is just how Dan loved his brother. And if you read this bio on Dan, please leave him a message and say "Rest in peace, Little Brother."
