Ralph Edward Gray, age 84, of Mt. Eden, Kentucky, died Tuesday November 27, 2012 in Louisville, Kentucky.
He was born on December 5, 1927 in Spencer County to the late Howard Nelson and Betty M. Shelburne Gray, Sr. He was a retired employee of General Electric.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah West Marshall Gray and three siblings, Jesse A. Gray, Mildred M. Holmes, and Mabel Gray.
He is survived by two sons, Kenneth Bruce (Jane) Gray of Georgetown and Paul Edward (Rox'Anne) Gray of Bowling Green; three siblings, Howard N. (Bernice) Gray, Jr. of Louisville, Myrtle King of Taylorsville, and Kenneth N. Gray of Taylorsville; three grandchildren, Jason B. Gray of Dayton, Ohio, Allison G. (Jacob) Stone of Lexington, and Sarah Katherine Gray of Bowling Green; sister-in-law, Dorothy Gray of Chaplin and special companion, Nora Coulter of Shelbyville.
Funeral services are 12 noon on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Shannon Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Temple, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial is at Grove Hill Cemetery.
