Dorothy (Hamilton) Worthington Doan, 88, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006, at her home. Mrs. Doan owned Budget Plan Credit Counseling in Michigan for 30 years.

After her retirement, she moved to Florida before coming to Evansville 10 years ago to be near her family. While living in Evansville, she worked for a family business "My Best Friends Closet" where she made many new friends.
She was a 1934 graduate of Bosse High School.

She is survived by two sons and their spouses, Jack and Sandy Worthington and Richard and Cheri Worthington, all of Evansville; four grandchildren, Brett, Jeffrey and Darin Worthington and Shannon Latham; and five great-grandchildren, Logan, Jourdan and Wade Worthington, and Kelsi and Kevin Latham.

At Dorothy's request, there will be a celebration of her life with a gathering of friends and family at a later date.
