A native of Buffalo where he was formerly employed, he had lived in the Hunt area for the past seven years. He was known as a citizen's band radio enthusiast with the CB identification 'Yankee Boy.'
Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann Burnstrom Amrhein; three sons, Rick, Michael and Thomas and three daughters, Julie, Jamie and Jeannie, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Mildred Amrhein of West Seneca; two sisters, Priscilla Bucceri of Arcade and Yvette Krol of Riverside, Calif.; and five brothers, Robert of Buffalo, Ronald of Depew, Douglas of Wayland, Kevin of Phoenix, Ariz., and Bruce of West Seneca.
A service was conducted Sunday in the Mann Funeral Home in Nunda. Burial was in Hunt Hollow Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society of America, Finger Lakes Chapter, 15 Prince St., Rochester 14607. (Genesee County Express, November 3, 1983, p17)
