Eliza A. Lamprey, daughter of Eli and Hannah (Sanborn) Lamprey was born February 24, 1824 at Hampton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.
She married first, Thomas Hale Leavitt, Sr. (1817-1847), son of Thomas and Abigail (Page) Leavitt, September 24, 1846, at Hampton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.
They had one child:
Thomas Hale Leavitt, Jr. (1847-1847) who died when he was just two weeks old.
Thomas Hale Leavitt, Sr. drowned in the Hampton River, October 11, 1847.
Eliza A. (Lamprey) Leavitt then married Jonathan Elkins (1819-1878), son of Jonathan and Joanna (Drew) Elkins, about 1849 at Hampton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.
They had four children:

Eliza A. (Lamprey) (Leavitt) Elkins died September 21, 1863, Hampton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, at the age of 39 years 7 months.
