Andrew and Anna were married on Dec 18 1851. According to the family Anna died of a "broken heart" after her oldest son Eli was killed by a falling tree. JT

Anna was the daughter of Thomas C. Jordan
Andrew and Anna were blessed with 8 children - Eli Henry(1853-1872), William Roger(1855-1993), Oscar H(1858-1939), John Acklin(1861-1933), Joseph Bracket(1864-1940), Ida Elizabeth(1866-1938), Edson Colfax(1868-1893), and Anna Marie(1872-1966).
