Mrs. Scynthia Ann Biddle, 79, wife of
George Biddle residing 3 miles
south of Windfall, died about 10
o'clock last night, after an illness
of about three weeks. Mrs.
Biddle was taken ill with a severe
cold and infuenza developed,
causing heart and lung complications
which caused death.
The deceased was born near
North Salem and 48 years ago to Daniel
and Martha (Johnson) Ponsler 11.
She was united in marriage to George
Biddle Sr. on Sept 2, 1872 in Jennings
County, Indiana. They had seven children
but only the husband and three
sons survive; they being John
and Manford at home and Don
Biddle, residing at Sheridan. She
is also: survived by three daughters,
Mrs. Laura Early, of Anderson; Mrs.
Mary Davis of Elwood and Mrs. Martha
Henry of Frankton.
Mrs. Biddle bad been a resident of
this county tor 44 years and at one time
had resided in the Kempton community.
