Roy retired from the Kansas Turnpike,in 1981 then as always he put all his time in on the farm.If you know Roy(Oh how he loved his Dogs I think at 1 time he had 6 or 7 at one time.On Oct.18th 1963 he married my Mother Merle jones/babcock,He is the Son of Ezra and Lottie Peterson Freeman I know Floyd D freeman was his brother I know he had 2 sisters Helen Overgard and Lena Harbaugh

Mr. Freeman was born in Tonganoxie on Aug. 26, 1921, the son of Ezra and Lottie Peterson Freeman. Mr. Freeman, a lifelong resident of Tonganoxie, graduated from Tonganoxie High School in 1939.
He retired in 1981 from the Kansas Turnpike Authority. He was a member of the Tonganoxie Senior Citizens and attended the Victory Baptist Church here.
He married Merle Jones Babcock on Oct. 18, 1966, in Tonganoxie. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include a stepson, Leslie L. Babcock, Tonganoxie; a stepdaughter, Vicki V. Fugett, Lawrence; a brother, Floyd D. Freeman, Tonganoxie; two sisters, Helen Overgard and Lena Harbaugh, both of Tonganoxie; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
