Inscription
Interestingly, there is no English at all on this stone.
The Hebrew text reads:
"The crown has fallen from our heads
with the death of our dear father
a righteous and respected man
reb MEIR ben ha-Rav reb YAKOV (may the memory of that Tzadik be a blessing)
BUDINOF
from the Town of Korsun, Province of Kiev
died Rosh-Hodesh Tevet 5673
May his soul be bound up in the bond of eternal life."
On the base of the stone is carved the Yiddish word "Fater" (Father).
Gravesite Details
In other documents, his name in Roman letters is Budinoff, and this seems to be the default spelling. In the cemetery records, his name is spelled Meyer Budenoff. The name on the stone seems to be Bodinoff (assuming the two alefs are komets-alefs).
