BEATRICE 'GRANNY BEA' E HOLCOMB

Beatrice E Holcomb, 96, of San Angelo passed away Sunday, May 26, 2002, in a local nursing home.
Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 30, at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday May 31, in the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Dr I.W Greer of the Bethel Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
Beatrice was born Aug 10, 1905, in Comanche, Texas, to George and Henrietta Dutton. She was a seamstress who enjoyed quilting and making clothes for her children and grandchildren. Beatrice had a quilt to take first place in state. She was a wonderful, caring and loving mother, grandmother and friend. Beatrice was loved and will be missed by all she touched.
Survivors include thress daughters, Gloria Huckaby and Mary Anne Bailey, both of San Angelo, and Geneva Holcomb of Granite Shoals, Texas, 12 grandchildren, Dorothy Williams, Cheryl Switzer, Debbie Arrott, Reggie Williams, Charlotte Huckaby, Mary George, Iris Justice, Sondra Walton, Al D Holcomb, Darrell Bailey, Denette Parsley and Darren Bailey, 14 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
