Alamo Defender. He had immigrated to Texas and was a resident of Nacogdoches. On September 30, 1835, he registered in Lorenzo de Zavala's colony but his land title was never completed. He was one of the volunteers who accompanied James Bowie to the Alamo garrison, where he died in the battle of the Alamo. (bio by: John "J-Cat" Griffith)
