Anna Maria (Mary) was born September 25, 1766, probably in Lower Saucon Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. While it's not been proven 100%, it is likely that she was the daughter of Paul and Maria Barbara Muller Brodt. Researchers of the Brodt family claim that Paul's daughter, Mary, was the first wife of Jacob Rosley (his second wife then being Mary's sister, Margaret Brodt), but I've not seen any evidence of this claim. Mary was married circa 1785 to Ludwig (also Lewis) Ache, son of Johann Herman and Maria Paulina Puff Ache. They were the parents of 9 known children: Elizabeth, Jacob, Susanna, John, Margaret, Maria Magdalena, Catharina, Christina and Michael Ache. Mary passed away April 29, 1842, in Lower Saucon Township, and was buried in the Lower Saucon Cemetery there.
