"I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved husband, Titus O. Bachman, all my estate, real and personal, of whatever kind or nature the same may be, during his natural life, and from and immediately after his decease. I give and devise the same unto my two children, Jacob and John, share and share alike, their heirs and assigns forever, provided nevertheless that should my husband re-marry, I hereby direct that all my property shall be sold and the proceeds divided within one year after such re-marriage. The real estate must be kept in good repair.
"And I do hereby constitute and appoint my said husband, Titus O. Bachman, sole executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I, Mary J. "I, the undersigned Mary J. Bachman, do make and publish this codicil to my last will and testament, bearing date the 12th day of December, 1904, in manner following: Before the distribution of my estate as directed in my last will, I order and direct the following changes to be made by my executors hereinafter named.
"I give, devise, and bequeath to my daughter-in-law, Mary Bachman, wife of Jacob R. "I give, devise, and bequeath to my son, John R. Bachman, the old chest marked Catharine Hasin [probably her great- grandmother prior to marrying her great-grandfather] and the old woolen blanket on which is woven the name Elizabeth Ehrhart [her mother, or possibly her grandmother after she married her grandfather].
"I also order and direct that my clothes and the old silver be divided between my two daughters-in-law.
"Should the income from my estate be insufficient for the support of my husband, my executors hereinafter named are authorized to draw upon the principal.
"I further order and direct that the share of my son Jacob R. Bachman be held in trust by the E. P. "Instead of my husband T. O. Bachman, I hereby appoint my son John R. Bachman and the E. P. Wilbur Trust Co., the executors of my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this ___ day of February, A. D. 1915." ----signed Mary J. Bachman
