PLEASANT RIDGE PLT. -- Millard C. Flanders, 90, died Oct. 6, 2007, at Somerset Residential Care Facility in Bingham.
He was born in Bingham on July 8, 1917, the son of Arthur and Diadamie (French) Flanders.
He graduated from Solon High School in 1935. In 1963, he married Ruth H. Rollins. They spent many happy times at their camp at Iron Bound Pond in Athens.
Millard worked at Quimby Veneer Mill for 18 years. He retired from the North Anson Reel Mill in 1980. He was a member of the Keystone Masonic Lodge #80 of Solon.
He was predeceased by his wife of 44 years, Ruth.
He is survived by one stepdaughter, Phyllis Pratt and husband, George, of Pleasant Ridge; one stepson, Dennis Rollins and wife, Charlene, of Winslow; five step-grandchildren; and eight step-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 9, at the First Congregational Church, Bingham, with Rev. Douglas W. Drown officiating. Interment will follow at the Union Cemetery, Moscow.
